Is this the new Star Wars director?
Star Trek director in negotiations with Disney.
Who is directing the new Star Wars movies?
That question has cinema set up after Disney put billions on the table and bought the rights to George Lucas' life's work last year.
Late Thursday evening, citing several U.S. websites sources that it's JJ Abrams that got the job.
Deadline.com reports that his source agreement with Abrams is ready. TheWrap.com , who was first with the preliminary unconfirmed rumor, writes that producer Kathleen Kennedy has long had her eye on the man who has breathed new life into Star Trek - franchise with a film in 2009, and a sequel coming later this year.
TheHollywoodReporter.com tells sources that Abrams is in talks, but that he and Disney should be close to a deal.
Several reports that Ben Affleck was among those who were high on the list of possible candidates.
Abrams is behind several of the largest science fiction and action blockbusters in Hollywood in recent years. In addition to the Star Trek films have worked with Mission Impossible III and Super 8 - While his production company has created series Fringe , Alias and Lost .
He has spoken of the first Star Wars movie from 1977 inspired him as a child to become a filmmaker. He also included a small cameorolle the robot R2-D2 in his first Star Trek movie.
Previously, Abrams himself denied that he plans to take the helm of one of the new Star Wars movies.
In December, he said in an interview with Empire magazine that talks had taken place, but that they led nowhere. Among other things because of possible conflicts between the two major science fiction film series.
- Conversations about the job took place, but because of my loyalty to Star Trek and Star Wars fan, I gave notice that I did not want to be involved in the project, JJ said.
But now that appears to be untrue as he is certainly to be the next S.W. director according to inside sources.

Either that or she will karate chop you and you will be sorry you ever got it into your
head that you want a Japanese girl to lick your tongue.
If you succeed she will be yours forever as in Japanese society, once a girl licks your
tongue, you have to marry her ugly sister and take care of her for the rest of your life.

IN a shocking and unexpected discovery, NASA announced today that a small colony of sexy Asian girls has been found living in a cave on the Martian surface.
